Merendero Jireh

I think this pollo con tajadas is one of the most delicious things I've eaten in Raleigh since I was at ChickenBee a month ago. The blend of texture and flavor was just so good 🤤.

I had a chicken baleada (without the egg) plus a plantain with pasted bean and cheese. Delicious, affordable, and I’ll definitely order again!

I got the chicken with plantain slices and it came with some sauce and pickled onions and a cabbagey slaw kind of salad and it was truly incredible. Impeccable chicken. Delectable. I must return with haste

BEWARE- The friendly man in the van next to the food truck selling sugar cane and mango charged $35 for a pint of sliced mango and a pint of sugar cane juice. Prices were not posted. Our fault for not asking prior; however, in what world would it cost this much! I don’t want anyone else to make the same mistake and think the food truck should not allow him to be there. Otherwise, the balleadas from the food truck was tasty and workers were friendly.

Definitely will recommend!! Merendero Jireh ensures the authenticity of the Honduran culture delicacy, and to my astonishment I found myself enjoying these exquisite menu options.
