Banks Bed and Breakfast

Absolutely an amazing stay! Mary and Curtis were so welcoming and a joy to talk to. I especially appreciated the handicapped accessible features in the Libby Mae. My parents stayed there because of the zero entry shower and accessible bathroom. They really did an amazing job of restoring an old home with the necessary convieneces for modern life. The property is stunning. The breakfast was delicious and Mary did a great job of accommodating my parents' dietary restrictions. Especially on short notice. For the hospitality, the food, and the views, it really is a great deal! We will be back!

Our stay with Mary and Curtis was simply perfect. They are such thoughtful hosts who really make you comfortable in their B&B. The house is beautiful and our room - the Libby Mae, was perfect for my husband and I. It was quiet and well air conditioned - the bed was super comfortable. |The highlight for me was their library with several very old books that they welcome their visitors to peruse. They also had water, tea and cookies out for their guests to enjoy. |It was so fun speaking with them about their lives in Garner and the history of the home.|The breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone. Mary called me ahead of time to ensure the menu would work for us which I appreciated! We had eggs, sausage, sweet potatoes and muffins with orange juice, tea and coffee to drink. Simp

Banks B&B is simply wonderful. Mary took me on a full tour, and all the rooms are spacious and fully equipped. While the home has been meticulously renovated, it retains all the original charm you'd expect in a historic home. I stayed in "Eve," which has its own little electric fireplace and a huge free-standing tub. The bed was firm but comfortable with fluffy pillows and bedding. I slept very well. Breakfast was hot, tasty, and homemade. Coffee with cream, juice, and water were all provided. The true stars of Banks B&B are Mary and Curtis themselves. We had wonderful conversations about books, birds, architecture, education....so many things. Can't wait to have my micro-wedding there this June!

Loved my stay at Banks B&B. Room was clean and just as described. Everything in good working order. Mary and Curtis are great hosts and the breakfast was first rate. Conveniently located for anything in the Raleigh/Garner area. I highly recommend a stay in this beautifully restored historic house.

My husband and I booked the Laura room for two nights for a small baby moon. We were incredibly impressed with the property. It is beautifully renovated while preserving the charm and history of the home. Extremely clean and comfortable. We were blown away by the hospitality from Mary and Curtis, wonderful baking was just the cherry on too. We will be going back!
