Mercer County Library: West Windsor Branch

The Mercer County Library in West Windsor is a true gem for readers of all kinds, especially manga fans. The manga collection is outstanding, thoughtfully curated, and impressively up to date. I was genuinely excited to find several titles by Junji Ito on the shelves, which speaks to the library’s commitment to diverse genres and contemporary interests. The books and staff are good but what is going on with the ceiling? I assume the snow storm damaged the roof because 3/4s of the ceiling is draped with low hanging plastic sheets. The sheets are catching debris and water. Im surprised the branch was open in such a condition. I hope that they repair it soon.

Not a good branch. Not very clean, staff are undertrained. The teens that work here are unprofessional and my child caught one of them using profanity the other day. The teens very lazy too and mostly are just sitting there on their phones. The staff here are undertrained and some are just downright rude. They also need to learn how to talk to children since they talk to kids like adults here and it makes the kids super intimidated. Honestly worse than other branches in Mercer County and really needs a rework. Some staff here are nice though but other than that I wouldn't recommend going to this library.

The Mercer County library system is superb. It has an efficient sharing system amongst its branch libraries, giving easy access to an enormous catalog of materials.

Multiple observations ! Librarians talk loudly giggling discussing tv shows with each other.. no discipline or consideration .. Ofcourse parents didn’t care if their child ran across the library or spoke across the hall .. I just find it odd ! This is not my first time in WW ..feels like a food court !!
