Mercer County Library: Ewing Branch

This library doesn’t allow you to get a card because you live 3 mins out side of the “district / county. 0/10 all i wanted to do was teach my brother how to read in a nice library .

Good little quiet and clean spot to study. Staff are always SUPER nice and accommodating and they have print (for a small fee) capabilities. Great facility for this Texas guy taking classes here at the nearby airport. Keep it up!!

I'm new to Ewing and just started to be a patron at the Ewing branch. I moved from Hamilton Township. I've enjoyed the museum pass program and most of the staff I've had contact with have been friendly. However, today I had a negative experience. I went in the afternoon planning on spending at least two hours. I am doing research on neuroscience. There were two staff members talking loudly sitting ten feet apart almost the entire time I was there. I left after an hour because I could not concentrate. When they weren't talking other patrons were following them by talking. I've never had this experience at a library. Hopefully next time they'll respect that people are trying to read and concentrate and not be so rude.

Our branch is open again and we are so glad! They have a limit of 25 people allowed in. We visit almost weekly at different times and have not had to wait. I take my two kids with me 7yr & 4yr and feel very comfortable there. The restrooms are open for use. There is no place to sit, however my kids find a spot on the floor to look through books and we have never been discouraged from this or rushed out. Be sure to drop your books in the drop bin before going in.
