Great local spot that consistently delivers. Their vodka rigatoni is a standout & is rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The seasonal specials are always worth trying as well. The location is convenient, the service is genuinely friendly, and everything feels welcoming and well run. An added bonus is the small market on site, which makes it easy to grab take-home items and enjoy their food later. A great place for both a quick bite and stocking up on quality prepared foods.

I’m giving Cattani's Italian Restaurant 2 stars strictly because the food itself was decent. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad either. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience were very disappointing. We were a party of 8 and our meals did not come out at the same time. Some people had completely finished eating before others had even received their meals. The waitress did apologize and mentioned they had two large tables at once (ours and another party of five), but that really shouldn’t result in such poorly timed service. What was even more frustrating was that when we tried to order dessert, we were told “the kitchen is closed.” Our reservation was at 3:00 PM, so it was very disappointing to be told we couldn’t order dessert at all. Before showing a few houses to my clients, I stopped for dinner at Cattani. It's is a cozy byob that has a truly unique Italian menu. Many dishes I had never even heard of before. Our food was freshy prepared and absolutely delicious. I like that they offered both half and full portions of pasta. Guests would frequently ask one another what they got because everything looked amazing and everyone was curious what to order their next visit! Love new local spots to share with friends.

I came here for lunch with my good friend the other day and was once again blown away by the entire dining experience! We got quite the assortment of food and each dish tasted delicious times ten! Not only was the food outstanding but the staff and the dining room were both spectacular! Cannot wait to come back!

Work dinner, there were 12 of us and several of us have food allergies. The server was fast, she was attentive to our needs and she was able to answer all my questions relating to gluten. The appetizers were really good, we ordered meat & cheese, broccoli, crab, burata and toast. The overall concenus, way too much food beforehand. I ordered bolognaise with gluten free pasta, half order. The food was good, there was plenty of meat, and enough to feed three people. Unfortunately, since I was on work travel, I threw a ton of it away. The menu did not provide an easy way to identify gluten free options (yes I know I was in an Italian restaurant in New Jersey, it is pasta all the way) it just makes it hard and uncomfortable for someone to order food in front of a large group of colleagues
