Mercantile & Bean

First time here. It's a nondescript building off of the Hwy 83/Genesee Rd. roundabout. It's a great building with windows along one side, and a drive through around the back (or is it the front). Inside there are different seating areas, and even a fireplace with a couple of chairs. The door opened right to the outside, which can be a little chilly like today, when someone enters/exits. The inside reflects the name, Mercantile and Bean. There are unique items for sale, ranging from honey to candles to apparel items. For me, this space could have been better purposed for additional seating. But I get the idea that they offer what they consider "Artisanal" items for sale. Just not what I want in a coffee shop. I can confidently say this is some of the best coffee I’ve had in all of Waukesha County. The latte was perfectly smooth and rich — just the right balance of espresso and milk. The fact that they offer a drive-through is a game changer, especially with kids — it saves the day when we’re on the go. Great coffee, convenient service, and a flavor that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch coffee and family-friendly convenience!

Wow! I heard about this place from a family member and figured I’d stop by. I got a breakfast sandwich and tried the Golden Latte - both were delicious! I also walked in to sit down and relax. It was an amazing atmosphere with modern and farm style decor and finishes. It was very relaxing and a wonderful place to unwind after a busy holiday!

Love the atmosphere in this place. Great coffee, such a relaxed vibe, and very fun and cute things you can buy, from candles to rolling pins to the local meats and food items they have in stock.

It was the first time I was here. The food and coffee was great! Gluten-free Almond cake was delicious 😋 Was fun to look at the gifts
