We loved this place! My husband had the churrasco steak. It was tender, juicy and very flavorful. This was by far our best meal in Vermont! We also had the bistro salad and it was fantastic. The maple poppyseed dressing was so different and tasty with the dried cranberries, apples and blue cheese. Last but not least, we tried the flan as it’s the chef’s mother’s recipe. The sauce really made it. It was scratch made caramel with a hint of orange and served very cold. It was excellent and very creamy and much better than what we usually get in Texas. Our server, Chelsea was so friendly and all the food chef David made was divine. We highly recommend!
Love this restaurant! Every time we visit this town we try to stop in. This is Latin fusion at its best. The food is always so flavorful and good. Today we started with the corn and chorizo chowder and it was so good. The chorizo gave the chowder a smoky taste, it was delicious. For our entrees I had the Cuban sandwich and my girlfriend had the jerk chicken. Both meals were excellent. I love a good Cuban sandwich and this one hit all the right spots. The rotary pork was delicious. My girlfriend loved the jerk chicken it was really good. To end or meal we had the flan which was ridiculously good. Great job, we will come back for sure.
Food The food was good, and the drinks were phenomenal. The reason I didn’t give it a five star rating is because the food wasn’t perfect. The empanadas had too much dough, so the wrap was too thick. The garlic shrimp sauce was top notched, and I could have drank the sauce by itself, but the shrimp itself was bland. The scallop was not bad, but it didn’t go well with the risotto. The desserts were good, but again not great. Everything else The service was good.
Amazing atmosphere and food, and friendly staff. I was with a couple of friends and we all ordered different plates - vegetable paella, swordfish with ravioli, and pork shank - and they were all delicious. We also ordered the coconut cake for dessert (also delicious!). The restaurant was busy and we arrived a bit late, but our waitress was always very friendly and we never felt pressured to order/leave. I'd definitely recommend it if you're going to Woodstock
The cuisine was unreal. I got the pork shank and it fell off of the bone it was so tender. The steak my husband got was cooked to perfection and so well seasoned. The tres leche cake was also sublime. We originally dined here because it was the only well-rated place that was open on a Monday night but next time we visit Woodstock we’ll seek it out regardless of what else is open because we were so impressed by the quality of flavors and the service!
