Mei’s Kitchen

We only come up here a couple times a year because we’re from NH but we look forward to stopping here on our way home every time! Not only are the vegan options amazing (we love the vegan boneless spare ribs) but the family that runs it are so sweet! We love Mei’s kitchen, can’t wait to come back!

I went today for soup and it legitimately tasted like dogfood which is so upsetting and I don't say that lightly... the pad thai was bone white which is something I've never seen before. Some of the other items were alright, but hard to care since the 2 things I actually wanted were so bad. Mind you, last time I went here we expressed a shellfish allergy and somehow ended up with shrimp in the fried rice. I went today without my son who has the allergy... At this point I would not recommend. Very sad tho cuz I had previously liked this place...

I've consistently had a good experience. Today I got 2 soups and they were good...my favorite has been the crab Rangoon. We got a couple of orders. There was very little filling and in fact a couple had no filing. Maybe just a bad day.

Spent $90 rice was mushy not fried rice just gross looking no color no flavor. Crab Rangoon was not good. Chicken wings and general chicken were okay. Just cannot find good food in this area. I have lived in CT for 6 years are can never find anything good to eat out. People out here taste buds are weird. I’m from New York I wish those owners start coming out here to open restaurants.

So far the only place I could get beef chow fun that is reminiscent of home. Great food. Haven’t had an issue yet with quality.
