Meehan's Public House Downtown

Me and my friends ordered a few drinks at the bar which were very very good. All of the staff were friendly and inviting as well. The overall vibe of this pub though, was unmatched. It was beautiful in there.

Solid bar with a few booths and tables and a decent dinner menu. Good service and decent on tap list. Bangers and mash are a fun item to try.

My husband and I decided to take a weekend trip to Atlanta from Pittsburgh!! We had the most amazing time between all the history to the amazing food! This is an absolute must if you’re in in downtown Atlanta!!! The best nachos hands down!!! Thank you for a great weekend!!

Meehan's was a great place to go after sitting in a conference all day. This was the perfect black and tan, a quite possibly the best french fries I may have ever had. Didn't get a pic of them tho, I was too busy eating them

I was a regular here 2010 - 2013 while working here almost every week on an IT project. Overall it just doesn't feel the same; not as welcoming or something and their food isn't as good as it was. I also think they took the easy way out by continuing the very limited "Dragon Con menu" on Labor Day when most attendees were gone and Meehan's was very empty. I did look at their regular menu and noticed it's very basic now; they used to have a lamb burger that was incredible and they also discontinued (before the pandemic according to our tender) their Full Irish Breakfast. I know many Irish pubs do not offer that any more, but in my opinion they ALL should. That dish is something that sets them apart from other bars and how hard is it to make really?
