Meadows Frozen Custard

Stopped in for dessert after having dinner in town and I must say this place has some super yummy frozen treats. My family & I were on a road trip from the Chicago area to eastern PA to visit my dad's siblings who live in Tamaqua and Coaldale. I figured since we were staying a night in a nearby hotel and not really in a hurry to just settle for typical mass franchise fast food and ice cream, let's see what PA has for us. With a lot of high ratings and shining reviews, this venue was the chosen one for my kids. The frozen yogurt/custard is delicious here and the residents of Clarion are lucky to have this gem. There are some great options ranging from fro-yo, custard, Italian ice, gelatis, smoothies, sundaes, etc. Understandably it's a chain but we don't have this in IL and we definitel

We love to go to the meadows! They have daily and monthly specials! For June 2025, we tried the strawberry pretzel salad sundae and it was excellent. We also got the lemon blueberry milkshake and it was SUPERB!! I highly recommend giving it a try. We will be back again for another.

Ate the cherry before the picture lol delicious hot fudge sundae. Kids loved their treat too. Will go again.

Everytime we visit the staff are welcoming and friendly! They had several options of desserts. They are now offering Affogato which is a scoop of custard with a shot of fresh espresso poured over top. Great combination!

Don’t count on the employees. I told the girl I wanted a turtle flavor but wanted a small. She said it doesn’t come in a small but would make me a small and just add the additional toppings. The small she gave me literally cost more than the medium. I really believe she did this on purpose.
