McQuade's Pub and Grill

Our group of 4 was pleasantly surprised by this random Labor Day find. I got the Old Fashioned smash burger with a side of Mac (thousand island) dressing and everything tasted homemade. Fries were perfectly crunchy and fried in beef tallow, dressing tasted freshly made and the burger was just right. Patty was on the thinner side and that’s exactly what I like so the other toppings can standout too. The handmade chicken tenders were also good. The portions were refreshingly right-sized - not too much food and no one left hungry. Mary is a delightful server and the hostess was pleasant and friendly. Will for sure be back.

Had a great lunch on our way to Lutsen! Excellent food...smash burgers were one of best we have had ...including places in the cities. Our server Mary was great too. Kids even cleaned their plates! Highly recommended....we will be back !

McQuade's Pub and Grill is a solid option if you're in Two Harbors or passing through. I really loved the food, and we had great service. We ordered a bunch of food, so we had leftovers. The buffalo chicken tenders were tasty, and we really enjoyed the fries that came with them. The Oklahoma Burger had the great crispy edges that I love in a good smash burger. I could tell the wild rice burger patties were made in-house. The cheese curds and salad were good sides. We also got a side of onion rings, and the Honey Sriracha Aoli was even tastier than expected. We had a pretty complicated order, and I was impressed with how the staff remembered it all. They were attentive and quick, but they gave us plenty of space. It's worth a quick stop if you get a chance

Good drinks, burgers, wraps and wings. The Cajun Honey Butter wings were excellent. Big MacQuade burger as well, it's huge tho.

This is a typical small town bar & grill atmosphere. But dang, what a GREAT smashburger. Just the way they are defined...thin patty, lacy actually crispy edges. Maybe the best smashburger I have had. The server was really nice and helpful, and the food came FAST. We had been planning to stop at Culvers which is always good, but this was definitely better, at close to similar prices, and just as fast of service. We'll stop here from now on, and you should too!
