We had a fabulous meal here on a Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the middle of winter. It's a beautiful setting, the food was fresh and delicious and knowing that we were going to share the server even split the food for our plates. I highly recommend.
Loved the turkey apple melt! Paired wonderfully with their house made curry chicken wild rice soup. The food is definitely made with love here. Would love to visit this place again.
If you’re in Two Harbors or driving thru and craving something better than fast food, Madeira Bistro is the spot. My sister and I stopped in for lunch and shared the Hiker Sandwich along with the soup of the day (tortilla soup). Perfect call on a rainy day by the Big Lake. The Hiker Sandwich was spot on: fresh pumpernickel bread, tender pastrami, and zesty mustard with just the right kick. The tortilla soup delivered exactly what you’d hope for; flavorful broth with beans and corn, topped with crunchy tortilla strips and a little lime wedge for brightness. Comfort food done right. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a designer’s twist—fun interior decorations and wall art that give the space personality. While we were there, a few locals came in for lunch, which is always a goo
Very cute little restaurant with great sandwiches. I had the Catch on Rye, and my wife who doesn't like fish thought it tasted great! Loved the music choices that were played while we ate lunch
Such a cute place in Two Harbors that we popped into on our way to Split Rock Light House. I really loved stumbling upon this cafe. I had the Madeira salad and it was fantastic and fresh. My daughter had the Turkey Cheddar Melt and said it was delicious. The atmosphere is so sweet and the service was friendly and helpful. Such a great find and a perfect break point if you’re on your way North.
