McLoud Cafe

This place is a hidden gem! I would definitely recommend dropping in. You have to get the onion rings! They're definitely some of the best I've EVER had. Our food came out suoer fast and it was all delicious! The staff is very nice. It has a small town old café feel that's very welcoming and comfortable. If you're looking for upscale, posh dining, this ain't it. But if you want good home cooking comfort food, this is the spot! Did I mention the onion rings?!?!? The fried okra was absolute perfection! They weren't busy but we went early to beat the church crowd. It seems like there are plenty of regulars. The restaurant is very, uh, not modern, but it's exceptionally clean. Seriously, if you're in the area, drop in. Bring your appetite and enjoy! 😃👍👀

Small town local diner with big time chicken fried chicken and okra! Hubby enjoyed the meatloaf and we both had the okra (I asked for it burnt) and it came out perfect! Just the way we like it. Great friendly service.

Nice diner. Staff was super and the lunch menu had a lot of dishes at a reasonable price. The chicken fried steak was good. The BBQ sandwich with tater tots was good. They’ve got good ice too🤙

Outstanding breakfast! When I visit home I will make sure to eat here every morning!
