The BRAND NEW McDonalds In Stephens City is AMAZING!! It was like eating in a regular restaurant. They brought our food to the table, came over to see if everything was alright, came over and cleared our trash at the end, and brought a container for our left overs. You can order and pay with the kiosk, or at the register. You get a plastic number to sit on your table so they take it from there. Look at the pictures to see the modern decor!

Horrible set up. Just to get to restaurant you have to drive all around parking lots in other businesses to get to the McDonalds. Once there you walk in and its like a sterile room. One register and all order kiosk. We waited by the register for a few minutes and no one said a ahello they were busy in back talking and waiting on drive thru. We placed order on kiosk and then 10 minutes later we got our food. 10 minutes ??? For two breakfast sandwiches?? And 2 sodas? Yeah skip this place horrible customer service they got two stars cuase at least the food was good. But they got my sandwich wrong.

1 star, and I have came here since I was a kid. The remodel has made this place worse. Some workers are hard to understand, Orders arent complete, always and I DO MEAN ALWAYS out of something. Workers have never been rude or a problem, just unorganized and not properly checking contents of the bags before handing it over. Edit 1: Nov. 16th 2025 order as my wife wanted mcdonald's for dinner on her birthday. Get our food and realized instead of 2 large, 1 medium for fries, we got 2 medium , 1 large. I tell the older gentleman I assume is manager that it wasnt the 2 large it was supposed to be. He got louder saying "IT IS 2 LARGE!" I held up 2 mediums he shuts window and comes back says "I gave another medium ok?" NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If it wasnt 10mins just to get to kernstown id stop co

Drive thru is a nightmare, they make you pull up or into a parking space then forget you. The food is sloppily put together and then crammed into a paper bag so full of food that it almost bursts. The Head manager is rude and condescending (she’s a hoot). And who knows the last time they’ve cleaned their soda machines, the sodas are almost exclusively stale or flat.

Good service, place was clean, but the food you ask? TERRIBLE!!!!!!! I was on an 8 hour drive that day and couldn’t get into a Waffle House so I stopped at McDonald’s across the street. I didn’t have to wait too long for my food which hit my expectations. I ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget and a double filet o fish for my dad. 5 hours later I was so violently sick, vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, dizzy, fatigued, you name it!!!!!!! I got such horrible food poisoning from the nuggets. PLEASE MCDONALDS, STOP GIVING AWAY OLD OR UNDERCOOKED FOOD!!!!!!!
