Want pickles ? Don’t order a triple Mcpickle . (Pickle mc crispy) now I know it’s dumb to review a McDonald’s as more than.. a McDonald’s .. but this was just sad .. (I guess to be expected) we don’t get fast food, it’s out of our budget but we’d had a hard week, were tired and passing by.. I guess we should’ve kept our money and stayed hungry until we got home to eat real food as this just made the day worse .. so much for wanting a guilty “treat” as it was more of a trick and Halloween’s over ..

This was by far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. The place felt sticky from the moment I walked in and it was clear the floors and surfaces hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. The air smelled stale like the whole place needed a deep clean. The self-order screens were greasy and the food tasted off. The meat had a strange flavour, probably from an unclean grill. It wasn’t the worst meal but definitely not enjoyable. The only positive was the staff. They were friendly and polite which I appreciated. The bathrooms were a total nightmare. Easily the dirtiest I’ve ever seen at any McDonald’s. Coming from Europe I’m used to McDonald’s locations being clean and well-run. This one didn’t even come close. Very bad management.

Drive through breakfast Dec4 at 9 am -ordered the new bagel benny and 2 hashbrowns. Confirmed it 3 times as the person taking my order kept saying ‘is that all?’ Is that all? Got to work and it’s the driest bagel of my life - clearly NOT what I ordered. I don’t usually complain but ( always feel like they don’t care what I order and rush me through the ordering process) I took photos but it won’t allow me to use them.

We stopped by here for a break on the way back to Vancouver from Rossland. It did not take us very long to wait for our food. Surprisingly, the fries were very hot and crispy and we enjoyed it a lot. Hot peppermint chocolate was delicious as well. The place looked clean, which was nice as it is often not the case for McDonald’s in Vancouver. The only thing was had some strange/ unfriendly stares from an older couple sitting nearby, which was rare in BC.
