McCoy Station

I'm writing this review specifically for my wedding people out there. McCoy Station is such a cool wedding ceremony and reception venue and here's why: How many weddings have you been to that include a gondola ride? McCoy Station is the spot. There are awesome ceremony sites up there--both the Steeps Bar and the rooftop have incredible views of Mammoth Mountain. And there are two reception sites--Parallax and the main room which is better for bigger groups. The weather can be a chaotic up there, especially if you're going outside of the traditional summer wedding season, but it's always worth it when the sun comes out. Standard ski mountain restaurant. Super busy but the menu was fairly broad by comparison and food quality was really quite good. But several of the food lines were impossibly slow so you really need to bring your patience. Otherwise, lots of standard fare and was really okay.

We are during covid and in the Mountain, its beautiful view, ok. but 7$ for ONLY french fries is maybe a little bit too much and 16$ for a burger that is very basic and not really tasty (for me at least) explain my 3 stars only. Look my pics

Most people know McCoy Station as a place to warm up and grab some food while snowboarding/skiing on Mammoth Mountain. Did you know you can get married there? I've shot a number of weddings at McCoy Station over the last few years and it always provides one of the most beautiful backdrops for photos. It's always a fun party at McCoy!

If you're tired or hungry in the slopes, this is a great place to de-chill and recharge. There is a good selection of food - Asian, Italian, Mexican, Soups and salads, and, of course hot chocolate! Skiing/snowboarding sucks and just leads to more falls. It's good to have a place like this in the middle of the mountain (even though they charge $9.01 for a bowl of soup)!
