McAlister’s is one of my favorite places to eat in Niceville. They offer a variety of fresh menu options prepared by friendly staff. While it’s a bit on the pricey side, it’s worth it for the safe location, table delivery service, and consistently clean dining area. Occasionally, the potatoes can be overcooked or dry, but the soups, salads, and sandwiches are always top-notch.

I enjoyed my time here. I thought their red beans and rice for Mardi Gras was kinda of weak and watered down, but the sandwich was great and the service just as well. Very clean, open and people were kind and helpful.

I enjoyed a nice lunch in a clean restaurant. The portions were generous and the dressing distinctively good. I shared a Southwestern salad and had the chili lime dressing. It has a good zing. The seats near the windows are bright and add to the refreshing feel of a meal here. Funny thing to note but the water was actually fresh. Some restaurants have great food and stale water. McAlister’s was fresh.

Food was good and service was good. We went around 7pm and the store wasn’t too busy. Food was delivered very quickly and prices were reasonable.
