Mc Kee's Island Pub & Pizza

Semi-decent casual pub fare. The French onion soup is a standout, surprisingly stellar and comforting. However, some dishes miss the mark; the spaghetti with meatballs was a watery mess, and the fish and chips had a somewhat soggy batter. Lovely, friendly service

Great pub and pub grub. Plenty of wing sauces to choose from, wicked burgers and good pizzas. I enjoy the staff and the atmosphere. Even when I was new here (I see some comments about having to be local) - its an easy place to get into a conversation and just kick it.

A delightful rustic 'locals' feel. Excellent food and service. Downside is location right on the state road, very noisy if you sit outside. Not easily wheelchair accessible. Drive has deep ruts. But I would come again as the feel is very casual and the food is great. Large gluten free section on the menu. Server was knowledgeable about the beers.

Worst bartender experience ever. If you're not a local, your service will be terrible. The bartender, Ann, avoids eye contact. You have to shout out to get service. Tha bar was half empty. Whe I did pay, she brought the tab, but didn't bring back my.card. I had to ask for it. Beware. Photo is of Ann, the worst bartender in Vermont.

3 of us ate on a Sunday afternoon. Only 3 small tables of people and PLENTY of waitstaff. However it took over 1/2 hour to get 2 burgers and some wings. Worst waitstaff ever. Plenty of socializing amongst the staff and no service. Had to ask for more water and more beer. The burgers were fine....not hot. Seemed like they sat for 10 minutes before getting to our table. French fries were WAY undercooked and so were the wings. $82 later and we had to take the wings home and air fry them. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
