Incredible!! Buffet is like Sunday dinner at Grandma's. Hot food is hot, cold food is on ice. They have hamburgers and other non-buffet options. Am bicycling from San Diego Cali to St.Augustine Fl and this is the freshest tastiest meal I've come across! Nice friendly staff and patrons.

Nice local place recommended to all out of town visitors. Soul food bar, salad bar and the burgers are delicious. Shouldn't have drank the strawberry shake before my meal but once I started, it was too delicious to stop. Friendly staff, repeat community visits.

Mayo Cafe offers hearty Southern-cooked food that will remind you of home. It has been a long time since I enjoyed soul food like my mom used to make. If you’re in Mayo or the surrounding areas, especially if it’s your first time in Florida, be sure to stop by and enjoy a delicious meal. Once you walk in and take a seat, you may find it hard to leave! Our waitress, Akeelah Jones, was incredibly sweet and kind.

The food was fantastic! We were staying at Cindy’s Motel and walked over to get a to-go order for breakfast. I have a picky 8-year old and she said the pancakes were the best she had ever had…except for mine lol. The biscuits were DELICIOUS! They have a breakfast buffet on the weekend that our friend got food from and it was awesome. Make sure you eat here at least once if you are staying next door.

I stopped into the Mayo Café recently, hoping to enjoy their buffet. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t what I expected. The dining area was very dark and poorly lit, which made it hard to see the food clearly. Once I got to the buffet, I noticed there were no heat lamps or visible temperature control, and the food didn’t appear to be kept warm. To be honest, everything on the buffet looked unappetizing, and without proper temperature management, I was concerned about food safety. Because of that, I chose not to eat and decided to leave. On a positive note, the staff member at the host counter was very kind and welcoming. I didn’t complain, but I also won’t be returning. Based on what I observed, I can’t recommend the buffet.
