Mayan Palace

Amazing! This Tejana from a border town felt right at home. It was so nice to find authentic Mexican food out here and take a break from cooking at home. They even have Jarritos! Mexican food is love, and this place is truly authentic 🇲🇽🙌🏻 I had the camarón al mojo de ajo, and my husband had tacos. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to dine there again. The staff was very warm and friendly.

As a new person to the area I missed mexican food sooo much! This southern girl can say this place was amazing!!! Been to a few places in alaska and swore I would have to wait to go south again to have decent mexican food until I found this place tonight!!! Will definitely be back!!

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday and I’m so glad we did. Restaurant was very clean, service was awesome, and food was amazing. The ‘spicy’ salsa wasn’t all that spicy, but both salsas had great flavor and the chips were fresh. We had the Adobada Tacos and the Barbacoa Tacos, both were amazing…by far the best tacos in Fairbanks. The rice was ok, good but not super flavorful. The retired beans were awesome, perfect consistency and flavor. We’ll definitely be back soon!

It's been years since I've been to the mayan. I hate to say it, but food in the past has been inconsistent.But last night, it was right on. I had lingua and there was a burst of flavor with the first bite. The beans were good enough that I thought I cooked them. And both of the salsa they served we're very good, not exceptional but very good. If I could count on them being that level they would be my go to place.I'll check it out again soon

So me and my mom went to eat there I ordered two enchiladas with beans and rice my mom got 3 tacos. So my mom got tinfoil in her food and I told the waitress and she left it on the table I ate about one of my enchiladas and my beans and rice i’m opening up the second enchilada, and there is bugs in my food the waitress comes back, says sorry leaves the plate on the table five minutes later, she comes and grabs it then about two minutes later the owner comes out and he’s drunk and he says where’s the bug there’s not not even a plate here and I said the waiter took it and then he asked the waiter seen a bug and she shaking her head and the owner says It’s not a Bug. Then I say well I have a picture and he says that’s not a bug it’s seasoning then he says we are lying, and we planted the bug
