Maya Mexican Restaurant

I AM A REFRIED BEAN FANATIC!!! One of my favorite places to order refried beans. California burrito with avocados and carne asada was pretty darn good. Nice quaint place. Thank you very much.

Not much to say other then, if you haven’t been to Maya you are the one missing out. I was looking for a good spot to have breakfast and decided to try Mayas. The Restruant is very welcoming and clean and the service is impeccable! There is a great selection of authentic Mexican dishes to choose from, the salsa is some of the best I have had in a long time. Mayas definitely moved to the top of my list and I will be back soon.

When we got the bill, we were charged $3 more per item. If you go, make sure you ask about the prices before you order. Not sure why we had to pay $6 more for our meal. No explanation was given. The food at Maya was good and there was a large selection on the menu. There is free street parking out front on the side street. Many people were getting orders to go. We tried the Chilaquiles con Huevos with red sauce and the Steak a la Mexicana. You can choose red sauce or green sauce with the chilaquiles. I wanted half red and half green, but they won’t do that. You can also choose to have all beans or half beans and half potatoes. I did half and half and I’m glad I did. The potatoes were good. The Steak a la Mexicana was good and spicy. Overall, a good place with questionable pricing.

Burritos 🌯 of Chicharron are amazing, the green pozole is a different from traditional red, but still, good one. Tostadas are good as well. Didn't like it the tip comes on the bill as a must pay, but it is what it is. I could give more tip if not feel forced to pay it 🤷‍♂️. Parking spaces available around the local and very centric.
