Max's Sushi Hand Rol & Katsu Chicken

Delicious asian comfort food that's in a convenient location for a quick bite. A little bit past the bars of East 6th, you can find Max's Asian food. They were still renovating inside from the old jazz club that used to be here. We picked up a few small plates for a delicious lunch. I'd love to be back for theor char-siu which was sold out at the time.

About $8.75 with add ons and tax for all this! I got takeout which was easy and quick, but the inside seemed cozy when I went in! Food was filling and delicious, I will be back! I got the bao tacos (tofu) with the pickled radish add on and the ebi hand roll.

Checked this place out today and was BLOWN AWAY! Everything we had was delicious and full of flavor. The $3 hand rolls were huge and come with a miso butter that was dynamite! Other stand outs include the ramen, potstickers and katsu chicken. We left here absolutely stuffed and satisfied for like $35. Literally can’t beat it. Check this place out!!! I need these hand rolls in my life!!

I ordered online during the soft opening today in mid July. I just got the Char-Siu Pork Belly Baos (2 pcs) for $7 and it was delicious! The kitchen had it ready early and there when i arrived. The owner/mgr guys Tom & Kenny are very friendly and going to be a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. They accept just about every online platform for ordering, but if you have the time, go order in person once they are fully open (so they avoid those pesky fees those companies charge). By next week (the start of August) the full bar should be setup and the dining room open. Hopefully they do the happy hour drinks i've seen mentioned on their Instagram. Its a very good deal!! Also, keep in mind they close a few hours between lunch and dinner. Welcome to the neighborhood guys! I can
