Max Orient 1155 E Battlefield RD

Horrible. I used to LOVE Max Orient in our mall. I ordered delivery from the one on Battlefield and never again. My Meat was Raw! I got their pick 2. I ordered the angus steak with peppers and the mushroom and chicken. I took a few bites and thought the chicken and steak was kinda soft. When I looked at the steak it was kinda pink in the middle ugh and my CHICKEN...WAS...Raw! Never again. Thanks for making me sick.

I ordered the Bourbon Chicken with rice… when I got to my car it was the breaded chicken… I went back in and told the lady behind the counter that I don’t do breaded… I pointed at the kind of chicken I wanted NOT KNOWING that it was “SPICY!” The manager Maria at Battlefield Mall location.. will NOT fix the problem and give me regular bourbon chicken! So, I paid $12 for a meal I cant enjoy! I did not know because the signs telling what the chicken is are posted high… I just saw that today! That’s besides the point! I did not order spicy and the workers behind the counter should tell the customer what they are putting in your “to go” box! I got quite the surprise when I got home! Maria said, they already exchanged once and refused to make my order correctly! How is this my fault? Bad custom

The service is bad and dishonest. They said they gave me a military discount. I walked away and checked the receipt. I realized the discount wasn't applied. I came back to ask. The same person (a black guy) showed me the register screen. The register showed $9.99 plus tax. My receipt showed $9.89 plus tax. I showed him that $9.89 for bourbon chicken combo is the promo price on the price list posted on the big sign. That means the military discount wasn't applied. He then tried to lie. He said that that's not how it is. $9.99 is the price and $9.89 is the price after military discount (when the register computer doesn't show the discount at all). I said ok and walked away. Be careful with the service here. Check your receipts.

Food is great, and they let you try samples of things before you buy which is pretty cool. I recommend the "blackened chicken" which was the favorite of both my wife and I out of four different entrees. The older guy (who I assume is the owner) is friendly and pleasant which makes the experience even better. Their prices are very reasonable and you get plenty of food.

Went online and scheduled a pickup order for lunch. It was perfect! Super fresh and delicious. This is bourbon chicken and the fried roll. Keep in mind i did have bites before taking pics!!
