Mavi Cafe

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Lunch at Mavi Cafe! I visited Mavi Cafe at 95 Stuyvesant Pl, Staten Island, NY 10301 around midday with my family, and it was the best decision! The restaurant is reasonably priced, and the food was absolutely delicious. You can tell it’s a family-run business — warm, welcoming, and full of personality. Our server, Kate, was incredible. She treated us with genuine kindness and attention, making us feel truly welcome throughout our meal. Her service was friendly, attentive, and added so much to our overall experience. The location is convenient — just across from public buildings in the St. George area near Borough Hall and the local courthouse — which makes it easy to combine lunch with a visit to the ferry or other local spots. Very nice quaint place. They have the best blueberry muffins I've ever tasted. They were humongous! So fresh! Can't wait to go back to try more goodies.

7:55 I called in, 8:00am I walked in, and 8:33 I left with no breakfast this place can’t manage on the weekends with out the adult working there. Took them 30 mins to realize they didn’t have my order, every person that walked in after me and left with their order had a different name than me.

This morning I was starving and remembered a recommendation to this establishment. I went in and the atmosphere was lively as patrons sat and enjoyed their items and conversations. I looked around to take in the decor and read the menu written on the walls in chalk. Immediately I was impressed by the menu options and further intrigued by the brightly lighted glass display of various baked goods and muffins. The person behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I told her it was my first time and she greeted me happily. While I waited for my breakfast sandwich to be prepared, struck up a conversation with a patron that was getting coffee, he said as a first timer I definitely needed to try the oatmeal raisin cookies and ended up adding one on his tab so that I knew he was serious!

Aunties Cafe is located in the Huntington Center in Shelton, Connecticut. This is a great local family owned business that has been around for years! I live in Ireland so this was a real treat to visit and sample some of the food as I know a family member! We got 2 boxes of their freshly made Muffins to try them! The Muffins are amazing! They are so soft and flavoursome! I highly recommend geting the blueberry muffin, also try toasting the Cornbread muffin and adding some butter! They also have great coffee and breakfast sandwiches too!
