Maui Pie

Maui Pie in Kihei is hands down the best pie on the island. The pies are made fresh on site and they have several different flavors. Pies are available by the slice or mini pie or regular size pie. I have had the Peanut Butter Chocolate and the Blueberry Pie with ice cream. My wife had Raspberry Peach with Ice cream. All were excellent! Shop has good vibes and the service is awesome!

The crumb is really delicious and spiced almost like chai. We got the mountain Berry fruit pie and loved it. All the fruit pies happen to be vegan as well which is great!

A small bakery with delicious pastries using local flavors. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The pies are made in house and are delicious. There is a wide selection and size options to choose from. While there are plenty of inventory, popular creations may sell out. Call ahead if this is a concern. Cash and credit card payments are taken. The small dinning room is very comfortable. The tables are spaced well and there is plenty of room. A large parking lot is close to the shop. The shop is ground level and accessible to most. Confirm the latest store hours of operations.

We stopped in for a taste of pie. We got the strawberry mango and the chocolate haupia, which is a popular Hawaiian with coconut and chocolate pudding (described as similar to flan) topped with whipped cream. Both pies were delicious and the service was amazing.

Cute little spot right off the Kihei Highway. Great location. Staff were very friendly. The pies were not bad, don’t get me wrong. But for a place called Maui pie I really expected them to be absolute top-tier. Found them to be fairly generic. They are open late though, and are a fantastic option if you’re looking for a snack after dark and you’re staying in Kihei.
