Matty's Bar & Grille

First visit to Matty’s Bar & Grille — and I get why everyone loves this place! Great food, lively atmosphere, and genuine hospitality all around. Huge shout-out to Christine for her incredible service — she kept everything smooth and welcoming start to finish. Tried their Larceny Bourbon — must-try if you enjoy a good pour! Plenty of parking, multiple event spaces, and a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be back! 🥃✨

Always a 10/10. Love the fish street tacos and breakfast tacos. The Bloody Mary drinks are always super delicious. Only downside is when you sit at the bar it feels like they’re rushing you out. After 20 mins of getting food and drinks they’re asking if you want the box and check. Overall very good place.

As a fish fry connoisseur, Matty’s holds strong in my top 3! The batter is crispy and light. Three huge battered fillets. The potato pancakes are crispy on the outside yet soft in the center with great flavor. The coleslaw is tasty, and you can’t go wrong with marble rye bread. It was very filling! I walked by someone who got the baked cod and it was a huge fillet with paprika. It looked great. A couple criticisms include that this particular time, our appetizers were brought out about one minute before the meal, which doesn’t even make me want them anymore. Major pet peeve of mine. The entrées were fired way too early. A couple of other people in my party ordered another round of drinks and mentioned how they tasted completely different than the first time. I ordered the pork schnitzel with mushroom gravy which comes with mashed potatoes and sauteed asparagus. The dinner was excellent! The schnitzel was breaded and fried and very big. It was fairly thick but still moist and crunchy, just how a German likes it! This entree was on their special Oktoberfest menu for the month of October. I think they should offer this entree year around! The service was prompt, very efficient, humorous, and neighborly! Matty's has a lot of tv's to watch sports and ample parking in the back.

Fun atmosphere, good food, cold beer and drinks. We came for the Friday fish fry and it was delicious. It was a little busy, but there was no wait for seating, and there was plenty of parking. We saw folks with kids in high chairs, and what looked like a first date. 100 percent recommend.
