MATTS FIRE PIZZA

Went to check these guys out on their 2nd day. The wait was considerable, but I was told that up front. They are busy people are excited for the new spot. The wait was more then worth it. The pizza was delicious and unlike anything else in the area. Be sure to check them out!

Ordered today on their grand opening. They were SLAMMED. Took almost 2 hours for the pizza AND IT WAS WORTH EVERY SECOND. Nice wood fired taste. Fresh ingredients. Sauce was delicious. My recommendation. If you have to wait…..WAIT. You won’t be disappointed. Plus the owners were super cool. You can tell that Matt takes a lot of pride in his product.

Opening day review: It was...chaos. I arrived maybe, 5 minutes after opening. The lobby was already full. But what do you expect for a new pizza place! So I ordered and waited. And waited. But I knew going into it, there was going to be a wait. It gave me time to really check out the operation. Staff was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. Quick to greet folks coming through the door. Personable and cheerful. I watched them make pizza after pizza. All the ingredients looked fresh. Pizza is topped with the right amount of cheese for a thinner crust like this. The dough is probably the best you'll get in the area. Pizza comes out with a nice little char in places on the crust. Was just at their grand opening and it was hectic! Despite the wait time, the staff was really friendly, and the pizza was EXCELLENT. Happy to have a new pizza place around.
