MATTEO'S PIZZA & BISTRO

Very nice, upscale restaurant tucked away in Carmichael. What impressed me the most is their massive wine selection. You can tell whomever handles that part of the business has some good taste! Otherwise, the dining experience is amazing too. Great food, really nice service, and well crafted ambience.

1st off this spot is grown and sexy. I ordered the Stu. It was worth every penny. I also had a fabulous glass of sweet wine that was so good I had to get a bottle to take home. Mateo came out and introduced himself to me. I will definitely be back. 10/10

Delicious! I loved the Alfredo Pasta with chicken. The sauce was very rich and creamy, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the chicken was still juicy and not dry. Service was smooth and friendly. I'd come back for sure!

This meal was fantastic. The cheesey bread was so delicious. I could have just eaten that for dinner but I'm glad I didn't. The chicken Parmesan was also amazing! This isn't a budget friendly place to eat but of you're gonna splurge this place has a very unique and tasty style to it. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The outside patio is beautiful too.

I came here late afternoon on a Saturday and it wasn't busy. I sat at the bar, and the service was great. The bartender was very helpful and attentive. Everything tasted so fresh! Started off with a dessert wine, Kiona Chenin Blanc Ice Wine. It was perfectly sweet. Ordered some garlic bread and then the Penne Bolognese. The bread was really good and buttery. The bolognese was decent, but I wish there was more seasoning and cheese. Lastly, I got the Apple Berry Crisp. It was good, but not as sweet/sugary as I would've liked. But it was perfectly crisp, and the ice cream was amazing.
