Skip's Kitchen

With only our second visit to Skip’s, this spot has quickly become a favorite of ours. The food hits perfect, and will require you to try the whole menu for scientific purposes 😎. This place starts busy from the time they open, so get there early. The staff was great, and check in on you frequently. We will be back 🔥🔥

Wow wonderful service here and the food is amazing. They hand out playing cards as table numbers and if you get the joker the meal is on them. Amazing restaurant but if you come here at a busy time expect to wait a while for the food, totally worth it and I’ll be back for sure!!

After a bike ride from Discovery Park, my cousin and I stopped at Skip’s with big appetites, and we were in for a treat. The customer service was incredible. Right at the counter, they pull out a deck of cards and give you a shot at picking a Joker for a free meal, such a unique, creative touch that makes you want to come back. Skip himself came out to the dining area, refilled our sodas multiple times (even though there’s a self-serve fountain), introduced himself, chatted with us, and on our way out, his son held the door open for us. It felt like stepping into a 1950s–60s burger joint where you’re treated like family, and this was our first visit! The burgers? Absolutely top-notch! Great friendly service. They even have a card draw for a free meal and someone won while we were there. I had a Mushroom Swiss Burger. It is the juiciest burger I have had in a long time and cooked the way I liked it.
