Mattapoisett Town Beach

Same as since I was a kid. Usually very busy in the summer. Town sticker required to park. No more raft to swim out to and jump off of! What happened to the fun good old days!?

Love this beach. Small fee to park in their lot, or you can park on a side street and walk in. There are restrooms and swings if you take your kids and a raft out in the ocean for those that want to dive a bit further out. During the season there are always life guards and in the afternoon the ice cream truck stops by for a yummy way to cool off. Definitely one of my favorite local beaches.

Great spot on a blustery day like today to watch the rollers crashing in along the piers. It's our go-to lunch spot when we grab take-out from Oxford Creamery (best seafood around, old school clam shack, but better)!

A cute little spot if you don't feel like packing a HUGE cooler, umbrella, blankets,etc. etc. You know what I mean. It's a nice little swimming nook area where you can jump in the water when it's hot out and come out and sit on your mini beach chair or towel and enjoy the sun! DONT LITTER!

Nice beach, easy parking nearby. Great for the kids. Being able to shower and rinse off after being in the water is great
