Mattapoisett Library

We love coming here for story time. I bring my one year old son weekly for story tots. The songs, music and books are cute for the little ones. Today i picked up a make your own pumpkin book at home. I love the craft ideas and the events you have for the community. Thank you!

Ugh a lovely local library. If you want to know all they have to offer sign up for their monthly email newsletter. We go for story tots as often as we can. They are also part of the SAILS library chain so you can order books from other libraries in the chain. Lots of activities to take out for children too!

Just a great resource!! Staff is friendly and services are fantastic. They do.much more than just lend books. The children's section isna great place to spend a rainy summer's day!!

To paraphrase Shakespeare, though this library be but little, she is fierce! A great kid/teen section, complete with soft chairs and a Tardis - no kidding! You can borrow not just books and DVDs, but a ukelele, sewing machine, podcast kit, cake pans and fishing poles, among other items. Beautiful architecture and a beautiful staff that is helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. What a gem!

This is possibly the coolest library I've ever been to. They lend out unusual things like a sewing machine, a guitar, a podcasting kit, a book binding kit, fishing poles, and more. I highly recommend checking it out! They're in the SAILS Network so they let my friend use her Easton, MA library card to borrow things.
