Masala Indian Cuisine

This is my second time visiting this place both times for the lunch buffet. Priced magnificently at $17, the buffet is sprawling in the contents that it covers, both for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. I came back the second time for the Palak (they mix it with either paneer or Chana). Compliments to the chef and the hostess.

I ordered takeout from Masala and was pleasantly surprised. The food was ready quickly and arrived in a timely manner. The samosas were large, perfectly fried, and generously stuffed with filling. The green cilantro chutney was fresh and bright, adding a nice pop of flavor to the dish. I also got the chicken tikka masala, which was rich and comforting. I usually prefer spicier foods, and this one leaned mild and more on the tomato-forward side, but it was still very good. I especially enjoyed dipping my garlic naan into the sauce. I’ve also tried the samosa chaat, which I recommend pairing with the darker tamarind chutney.

5/5 chicken dumplings 1/5 Mutter Paneer as i was expecting curry style with salt/spicy , but you may like it if you like sweet and butter chicken style

​Unprofessional and Completely Disorganized ​I had a incredibly frustrating experience at this place a few days ago, and I won't be probably coming back. The level of service here is non-existent. The employees young guys and girls—clearly have zero training in customer service. ​I went in to pick up an order and stood there for quite a while before anyone even acknowledged my existence. Eventually, a girl asked for my name in order and told me it would be "6 to 7 minutes." I waited patiently in the corner, but 15 minutes passed without a word. Meanwhile, the staff was just standing around, laughing loudly and joking with each other, completely ignoring the customers. ​When I finally went back up to the counter to check, I found my food had been sitting there for a while. Saw this place randomly driving and went in for a quick Sunday lunch. Food is not so great. It’s just okay at best. Even if you get tasty food with less varieties I think I can be happy with it but this just is not good. The chicken meatballs were salty, the lamb curry was chewy, and I think they don’t know what chole bature is. I found some triangle shaped bature like things and it’s just not at all what I imagined it to be.
