Martino's Pizzeria

Recently got takeout two different nights. (1) 3 large pizzas- Cheese, Mushrooms, Pepperoni. Honestly, the best pizzas on the island, cooked perfectly. Crust is really awesome and I really like the marinara sauce. Prices very reasonable. Employees all nice., (2) Angel hair with meatballs/sausages, Angel hair with sweet shrimp. Garlic bread with both. EXCELLENT all around. LARGE portions. Lots of meatballs, sausages, and shrimp! Owner is awesome and cares about his customers. I’m definitely looking forward to trying out other items on their extensive menu. Thanks for being my go-to pizza restaurant.

The cheese pizza was great! The chicken parm sub was super sub par. One chicken tender with hardly anything on top left my poor mom incredibly unsatisfied, and for the first time in her life, asked me to write a negative review about something. We’ve also had calzones here before that were okay, but I would just stick with the pizza.

Martino's is our favorite pizza on the Island. We've tried nearly every place nearby and it's been a challenge to find a pizza place that makes tasty NY style bubbly, chewy, and crispy crust with a slightly sweet sauce. We had a small NY style pizza with pepperoni, roasted garlic, and feta, and loved it. The crust was delicious, easily the best we've had since moving to this part of Rhode Island. We also got a large Caesar Salad and it was also perfect--just the right amount of garlic. We've been searching for a place that was this good and Martino's is the first to deliver. We will definitely be back! Well, we've been back, several times, and Martino's continues to deliver delicious pizza and calzones. I've added extra pictures.

We were there this past weekend and after reading the reviews and the response from the owner (who honestly seems like a very lovely person who sincerely cares about the business) it's difficult to write a negative review. The sandwich was not good. Soggy wet steak with one slice of cheese for a steak and cheese? It was a sour taste ti the meat as well. The pizza, the crust was amazing, although it would have been nice to enjoy it if everything did not slide right off. The staff was not friendly on Sunday, seemed as if it was more we were a bother that we came in which was unfortunate since we read the nice reviews. You can tell the owner cares .. maybe we just came on the wrong day. I don't think we would try again because first impressions are everything in this business.

Tried it for the first time today. Extremely happy with the overall experience. Young man cooking was super personable and nice. The two girls working were nice as well. The pizza and meatballs were great. Well done.
