Marquette Cottage

We had an amazing stay! The charm of the past decorated every corner of this quaint home. Great location to the square & The Beck Event! The fenced in backyard & covered back patio make this temporary stay feel like home. Our time there was the end of March, so we didn’t take full advantage of the backyard like we would have liked too. The owners were so easy to work with! Professional, kind & so accommodating!! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!!

This 3BR/2BA cottage was the perfect accommodation for our family of six as we visited family nearby. The king bedroom was very comfortable, the queen bedroom with the crib was perfect for our son and fiance' and their baby, and the adjoining twin bedroom was perfect for our 3-year-old granddaughter. We arrived hungry late on Christmas day (when everything was closed), and Leighann had stocked the fridge with plenty of food to tie us over, including some yummy homemade chicken noodle soup and a couple of quiches! We had everything we needed to host our annual Christmas tea for extended family. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the water pressure is pretty weak, and with a shower in only one of the two bathrooms, getting all six of us bathed each day was a bit chall

I chose this place because my friend was having her 40th bday downtown Harrisonville and this is the cutest/coolest little spot I’ve ever rented! There are so many antiques and things to look at all over the house and it’s just a fun cozy atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again if we ever need a place to stay in Harrisonville! Host is also very pleasant and friendly and left cinnamon rolls, bagels, cream cheese, oj, and tons of coffee options for us to choose from! Very nice all around

Delightful cozy and comfortable place to gather. Leigh Ann is exceptionally generous in this cottage and the food she left for us was delicious! Antique decor is very interesting! Quite a find for three sisters to meet up and spend quality time together 💓. Harrisonville has plenty to offer for shopping eating and entertainment as well.

We stayed for 3 nights here while visiting family and friends. We used this as our home base and let our friends come to us! There were the 3 of us and we were joined by my parents since there were 3 bedrooms with room to sleep 6. I felt a little nervous around all of the antiques, but my husband said the house was so relaxing for him! The master bedroom and the queen bedroom shared a jack and jill type bathroom, but only had a tub, no shower. So we just used the shower in the room where our daughter stayed. When you walk in the front door, you are in the living room area which extends on the right side toward the back of the house and ends in the kitchen/dining area.
