Best coffee in the area, even compared to coffee shops in KC. Food was also delicious, very cozy atmosphere as well.

I used to love the biscuits and gravy and would order a few times a week over last year. I recommend them to everyone. A few weeks ago, something changed, the graveyard was dark grey and the biscuits were hard and unable to cut. I wonder if the were old and heated up. I tried again this morning hoping my previous order was just a bad day. However, this morning's were horrible and not edible. This was one of my favorite places. Im not sure what changed.

Awesome little gem! Beautiful decoration and attention to detail. Enjoyed the food although it did take longer than I expected (about 20 minutes) which normally wouldn’t be a problem when swinging through a coffeeshop but this day we were in a hurry. Not fault for not asking ahead. I recommend!

Was a great little coffee shop - really neat historical yet modern atmosphere. Lots of seating (there's a downstairs, main level, and outdoor area). Great views of the courthouse! There is a school down the street, so it got a little busy / loud outside when classes let out in the afternoon.
