Mark's Pig Roasting & Catering

Mark and his crew catered our wedding of 55 people this last weekend and did a fantastic job. Everything was amazing! All of our guests were raving about the BBQ Beans, Mac & Cheese, and of course the pig. We had tons of leftovers as well.

Could not be more pleased with our experience and I would highly recommend them. We had a memorial service for my brother and ended it with a pig roast and band in Higgins Lake. Mark and his crew were professional, did awesome work and did a fantastic cleanup. And the food…just doesn’t get any better. From the pig, sausage (you gotta get the sausage) and all the sides…everything was delicious! Would give them 10 starts if I could. Exceeded all my expectations. Thank you! Mark was hired to cater my husband's retirement party in June of 2023. We were in contact going over the details of what food items we wanted until about the beginning of May. Then it was really hard get a response from Mark. I should have been concerned when he finally responded and didn't have any of the items we requested, correct. He was to be at our house at 3:00 and all of a sudden I realize, as my guests were arriving, that he was not here yet. I checked my email and his assistant had emailed us stating he was not going to cater our party and he had no food prepared. We had to scramble to come up with food items for 100 guests. To add insult to injury, he returned my deposit again with no explanation or apology

Mark and team did a fantastic job for our wedding reception of around 160 people. Highly recommend getting your pig stuffed with sausage and use the sausage as an appetizer for your event. The Mac and Cheese was some of the best I have ever had. Everything arrived on time, hot and kept buffet full for the entire dinner time. Cannot thank them enough.

Awful! At a wedding the food was almost as bad as his temper! His table placement was in the entry way of the tent and he YELLED at people for standing between his food table and his truck....WHERE THE DOOR WAS TO WALK IN What made me decide to write this review was when he grabbed the bride's daughter who was under the age of 10 and physically moved her FORCEFULLY out of his way so that he could walk by. She was no where near his food table but in the entryway of the tent. No grown man should put his hands on a child!!!!! His food quality matched his temper... I am not sure what his issue was with that event but I do know what I saw with my own eyes and that alone of forcefully grabbing a child to move her so he could walk by left as bitter of a taste in my mouth as much as his food did!
