Marketplace Café at Nordstrom

I stop by once in a blue moon- most recently on the Saturday before Christmas while finishing up my shopping. I overheard a staff member telling another customer the wild salmon Niçoise was her favorite so I decided to order it. It was delicious, packed with flavor and very filling. I would absolutely order it again. This location’s interior would benefit from an interior upgrade or even just a refresh. Of course the space is still functional, but it has a 90s/early 2000s feel to it and it would be nice to see how it would feel with some new touches. New tables and better lighting can really go a long way.

We had a wonderful lunch here recently, thanks to Yamil who was very efficient and extremely helpful in menu suggestions. It is service like this that makes all the difference - we really appreciate it and can't wait to return when we are back in Baltimore again.

I absolutely love!!! This place the service is excellent! And the food is delicious, I come here on regular basis and never disappointed us, nothing better that shop and get a really good meal. The server Yamil is always so pleasant.

I was visiting from out of town and was excited to order one of my favorites: wild salmon Niçoise salad. I ordered two, which amounted to $50, for takeout. This was a big splurge for me. The salmon was terribly overcooked and dry and the potatoes were so overcooked they were crunchy. I don’t know what happened in the kitchen, the service was great, but I felt like I threw away $50. Plus I told my brother how much he would love the dish, and I felt like a fool. I don’t live close to a Nordstrom anymore, and I was so disappointed.
