Pastore's Italian Delly

The minute we walked through the front door—-the aromas made us immediately hungry! Service was prompt, almost rushed. Since it was our first visit, we weren’t sure what to order and felt pressured to make a quick decision. As the photo shows, the muffalettini had quite a few slices of meats, etc, but the bun could’ve been a much better quality. The shrimp salad sandwich was a tasty mixture of tender shrimp* with celery, onion, mayo, sliced tomato and a tiny bit of shredded lettuce on a fresh bun. (A choice of bread wasn’t an option) *plentiful-I should’ve counted before I chowed down!downside-2 shrimp still had unexpected crunchy tails :-(

This small, family-owned Italian deli is truly a hidden gem! The food is delicious 😋— fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love and tradition. Every sandwich, pasta, and pastry tastes like it came straight from an Italian kitchen. What makes it even better is the people. Everyone who works at the deli is always so warm and welcomeing— they greet you like an old friend and make you feel right at home every time you walk in. It’s rare to find a place that serves food this delicious and makes you feel this appreciated as a customer. If you’re looking for authentic Italian comfort food and genuine hospitality, this deli is the real deal. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great food and even greater people!

I live in Ohio, every time I go to Maryland and visit my niece and her husband we go to Pastores. Great deli, I ordered four different subs, a muffaletta sandwich, the eggplant parmesan, stuffed shells, spinach and cheese ravioli, two orders of sausage in sauce, A large Greek salad, two tiramisu, four large cannolis, two orders of pizzelles, two rice pudding. Never had a bad meal. If you're ever in the Baltimore area you have to give it a try.

I stop here every time I'm in town even when parking is hard. They have some of the best sandwiches I've had in a while with amazing hoagies, sandwiches, and a small selection of Italian groceries it's my favourite stop to make. The staff is always pleasant and I always have the same guy making my sandwich which is nice. Everything is very reasonably priced without sacrificing quality. The homemade cornbread and desserts are great and incredibly well priced, not many places you can get a piece of cornbread for 95¢. Next time I stop I'll get more photos.

If you like real Italian meats and meals, this is where you need to be! The smells as you walk in instantly makes your mouth water. The fresh made pastas are excellent. The sandwiches are made by skilled staff and will have you coming back for more. I highly recommend!
