this place is truly a gem. We discovered it many years ago shortly after it had opened and we found out about it during restaurant week. The thoughtfulness and care that they approach every single aspect of their establishment with means in all the years we have been there, we have never had a less than excellent meal or service. Their incorporation of local farms' products into their dishes celebrates the local bounty and lends to a creative and always tasty menu that changes with the seasons. Their drink menu is always paired perfectly with their seasonal dishes and always managed to whip up an equally perfect mocktail for me and my kiddos when they accompany us. We celebrated our anniversary at the upscale restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. Very personal service and casual comfortable atmosphere. The extra appetizers they bring while you wait for your first ordered appetizer were also outstanding. This was our first time here and it was an excellent choice for a special meal to celebrate.

We wanted to love this place, but unfortunately for the price the food was not memorable. Firstly, there is no labeled front door entrance or signage, so you’re left to guess which of the 3 doors to enter. Our server was amazing, knowledgeable and professional. The food was lackluster. The portions were inconsistent and 2 people in our party had to send their food back. The salmon was very fishy and the steak was severely over cooked. The shrimp and grits were good, and the pork belly was cooked well. Overall we had higher hopes given other reviews and accolades the restaurant has received.

Exceptional! This chef has an impeccable talent for pairing fresh herbs with local vegetables creating aesthetically pleasing and delectable dishes. Delighted with staff and every item we ordered to include the local wine that paired perfectly! Parking is adequate. Staff are knowledgeable and kind. Atmosphere is inviting. Don’t deprive yourself. Make your reservation. Enjoy!! We sure did.

Wonderful restaurant in Lovettsville! We have frequented it a number of times over the years, and it never disappoints. It's a tad pricey but worth it. Somewhat limited menu, but all dishes hit the mark with flavor, textural variety, and portion size. Every dish has a recommended wine paring which we partook. We had the bread plate to start, we had an app apiece, entree each and shared a dessert. Every dish was wonderful and well presented. They have limited hours and reservations are recommended. Service was fine, pleasant servers, parking somewhat limited but street parking is nearby. If you're in the area, check it out. If you're not nearby take a road trip; it's well worth it!
