The food quality is inconsistent and disappointing, but the real issue is how the business handles feedback. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, management argues publicly, deflects responsibility, and questions the validity of documented issues rather than acknowledge a clear pattern of quality control problems. Blaming packaging, staff turnover, or timing does not excuse serving subpar food — or dismissing customers who raise legitimate concerns. Mistakes happen. Public defensiveness and lack of accountability should not.The response to criticism was more concerning than the food itself.

Mario’s Pizzeria is the standard. Best pizza shop I’ve ever been to in my life. Simply & respectfully!

I have loved pizza my entire life but most places don't come close to this Mario's Pizzeria in small Oriskany Falls, NY. The garlic knots are amazing, the everything wings, crisper to perfection and ham topped pizza. All made with love and devotion. The result is something so delicious it is hard to find anywhere else other than in the middle of nowhere, Upstate New York. I haven't had pizza in four months and this was my amazing reward to waiting. I have been coming here for over 30 years. My family, no matter where they are always ask me when I am going next. They long for Mario's as I do every time I have been away for awhile. Tonight my brother was in town from Denver and all we could talk about was going to Mario's. We had this meal to carry on the traditions we had with our parents

It's not the same with the new owners they would be better off just reheating frozen pizza, it's just so hard cause we all got used to eating really good food from ther now its terrible even the subs are so skimpy rolls are dry just blah if I could give zero stars I would

I was recommended this place when I came into town by a client. I'm from Texas but have a soft spot, read craving, for a NY Slice. Always. The spot it self was cool. The staff were very nice and the pizza. Oh man. The pizza. Crispy, cheesy, good topping distribution, pepperoni not to greasy. The dough was superb. The kind of crust you enjoy as much as the pie. I may never make it to this part of NY again. But if I do. I'll be stopping back by here.
