Mario's Northend Pizzaria

I had a flavorless small pizza. Its only true flavor was burnt and grease. The sauce looked like red water. My wife’s calzone had a tea spoon of ricotta cheese. Had this not been takeout I would have taken a refund and left. What happened to Mario’s?

Words cannot truly describe the pizza here, not only is it my favorite, since working near here, and living a hour away, but it brings me joy and awe on the way it reminds me of my childhood pizza place, and it simply is worth a visit. The wonderful food here has a special place in my heart and when ever I can is my go to spot. Period.

Consistently really good!! I love their sandwiches and wraps.

Used to love this place. Had ordered a hot Italian toasted with a few add-ons for $16. Picked up the grinder within 10 minutes and the meat was still cold, not even starting to release the oils and the cheese wasn't melted in the slightest. Little disappointed from a place that used to be so good. Getting harder and harder to give them a chance with so many other options in town.
