In a word, "WOW!" Let me start by saying, we went the night before Valentine's Day, a Friday, without a reservation and on a time crunch and they still managed to fit us in (bar seating but still comfortable) and make the experience wonderful. Service: Sierra was our server and she was SO amazing. She took great care of us from start to finish and even took a couple pictures of us, even though it was crazy busy. The owner even stopped by and checked in on us which was so nice. Food/Price: Because we went on Valentine's Day weekend, it was a 4 course pre fixe menu and it was $75/person BUT it was so worth the price. Options were limited but we left more than satisfied with portion sizes, as well as quality, and very pleased with out meal in general. We each got a cocktail, which were ver
The soup and bread were amazing the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The Napoleon had a slightly off, chemical taste in the custard but the pastry and the icing were very good. The fruit tart was delicious. We would definitely go back! 1.20.26- I'm entering another review today as we went back to the Marigold Cafe & Bakery this past weekend. We had a fantastic time with the staff and other patrons while we watched the Denver game. The food was excellent, and the owner, Gus, was very engaging and entertaining; providing several dishes, including desserts to try. We especially liked the shrimp tempura, the coconut Frazier cake, German chocolate cake and the raspberry cheesecake! The lobster bisque and fresh baguettes are scrumptious. It was an amazing experience and we are looking
Flavors! The fresh bread with butter, the French onion soup, the Beef Bourguignon, and lastly, the Fraisier. Beverages: espresso martini The food here is extremely flavorful and always fresh. This is the restaurant that does it all and does it well. They offer different menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner however I’ve only tried their dinner the last few times I’ve dined in. The Beef Bourguignon was my favorite and the reason was because of how tender the meat was. It was very flavorful and cooked throughly to render the tenderness. Very nicely paired with Garlic mash which are always lovely made fresh and the roasted veggies. The roasted veggies add that touch of Smokey to the already amazing flavors. YUM The soup is good, just a nice onion soup with very cheesy top and slivers of
My birthday dinner at Marigold Café & Bakery was absolutely amazing! 💛 Thank you to the best husband in the world for such a special night. The staff—Joey, Max, and so many others—were wonderful, and owner Gus Nehmes truly went next level to make my birthday unforgettable. Every bite—from dinner to dessert—was absolutely amazing. This was hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had!
A Warm, Family-Friendly Gem in Colorado Springs We had such a lovely dinner at Marigold Café & Bakery, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots in Colorado Springs. From the moment we sat down, the staff went out of their way to make our kids feel comfortable. The manager (or owner) welcomed them with genuine kindness, and throughout the meal he checked in with a level of care that’s incredibly rare these days. At one point our three-year-old was upset about butter (toddler life!), and he took the time to ask our permission to show her the butter they use and even peek into the bakery area to see some chocolate being prepared. She lit up, ate better than she ever has in a restaurant, and kept saying how much she loved “this awesome place.” Both kids talked the whole drive home abo
