Not a big menu and that's ok. The fish and goat was the bomb. Never had this culture of food and I will go back. The only negitive was understanding the menu, it needs to be more detailed in English. But the lady did do the best she could to explain what I was eating. Very nice people.

Omg I pass this place for a year. Always tell myself I’m going to stop there one day. And I did. It was so good. I got black rice oxtails and plantain. Best in laurel. I’m going again today.

Amazing Experience at Maranatha Restaurant in Laurel, DE! My family and I were visiting from Western Maryland and staying in Lewes, DE when we searched for Haitian restaurants nearby and came across this absolute gem. Maranatha Restaurant exceeded all our expectations! The food was incredible—we had a sampling of everything, and it was all delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection, the lalo was rich and flavorful, and the sauce pois was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Every bite tasted homemade and full of love. The service was just as wonderful as the food—warm, welcoming, and attentive. You can really feel the care they put into everything they do. If you’re anywhere near Lewes or Laurel, DE, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t be disappointed! Cantave Family

My husband and ate from there it was really good. I usually have to go to Salisbury if I wanted some good Haitian food.
