Laurel Public Library

Clean, quiet, well-pointed and organized! Certainly a place for all ages and all people! Professional staff, both Stacey and Donald an asset for sure! I would've given a 5 except, I was called a unprovoked derogatory name by the Director Mrs. Bruce!  I was attended to by a woman named Jennifer upon my arrival who treated me as though I had a disease, she claimed no applications to get a card, and refused to accept proof of residency available electronically on my phone. After asking for Director, Mrs.Bruce came out and took me to task (interrogated) in insinuating that I was lying about receiving no paper bills staring hard into my eyes. After a few seconds I said the library is empty all i would like to do is get a library card. Mind you, I already applied on line with all of my personal

The staff members here are very friendly and helpful. There is also a great selection of materials here.

I am an academic librarian and had an opportunity to visit and tour this wonderful library. It was a real treat. I have seldom, if ever, come across a staff so in tune with the needs of their people. Go you!

Nice staff lots of good books for kids and adults and a private room to do school work or work

Fantastic programs, well laid out library that includes quiet places as well as places for kids. Great access to books, internet and continuing education as well as job services.
