Maple Shade Bed & Breakfast

First of all , Lindsey is an outstanding host. She is very accomodating and helpful. The Yellow room was beautifully decorated with antique furniture thoughout. The mattress was very comfortable. The HDTV was a bit small but, I did not come to this area to watch TV. The bathroom was impecably clean and all those little boutique soaps that women like. I brought guy soap. The yellow room has a jacuzzi tub and a standup shower with a sink that looks like it came out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Everything was nicely executed including period fixures for door knobs to the wood floors. The windows were were new and worked well. The service was just super with outstanding breakfasts that were made to order. No half warm eggs and bacon like free hotel buffet breakfasts that I am used to

Lindsay is a sweet and welcoming hostess, 2 dining rooms offer either privacy or fun times with other guests. Breakfast was delicious (great muffins!) and the rooms are beautiful, beds very comfortable. Lovely historic house, spent a lot of time on the spacious comfy porch. Peaceful country setting, yet only 10 minutes from Saratoga. We're going back this summer!

My wife and I stayed for three nights for the solar eclipse. Lindsey was very welcoming and very flexible as our needs for a third night varied with he projected cloud cover in the Adirondacks. The house is a completely gutted historic home, rebuilt with modern materials and en-suite baths, while retaining some historic details like pocket doors and Victorian trim, etc., and Victorian style furniture. Our bed was very comfortable, and the location is super quiet. Stars at night are magnificent. Guests have their own mini kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker, hot chocolate, and a small refrigerator stocked with drinks, as well as mil/half and half for coffee. We just returned from a weekend stay at this amazing B&B. The place is beautiful, super clean and very well maintained. Great attention to the details everywhere. The location is perfect - 10 min drive to the center of Saratoga Springs town and 5 min drive to the Saratoga lake. But you may not want to go anywhere and may just want to stay by the house - the location in the country is so beautiful and peaceful. The owners Lindsay and Kyle are super nice and very friendly and are amazingly genuine. Lindsay and Kyle are a real pleasure to meet and speak with and they really make the experience special. Beautiful find and a jem of a place just outside Saratoga Springs. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast are just superb and will keep you running and full for the rest of the day. The beautiful green rolling hills and the great porch with swing and arm chairs is a blessing to just sit and soak in the tranquility. Recommend full heartily and will try to come again!
