Manzil Cafe

My favorite NJ cafe. They use true ceremonial grade matcha and it never misses. Their flavors and rich in the coffee and chai. Sandwiches are yummy and cookies perfect. You can tell they put their true effort into this. The atmosphere is amazing. My favorite drink has to be their iced earl grey matcha. My only complaint is that there’s not much seating but other than that it’s lovely.

So I’ve given it 3 tries and I have to say it’s been great every time. The Matcha Vanilla Latte is good, the chocolate chip and other chocolate chip/date cookie are phenomenal. I’ve had the truffle fries which were really good and not overwhelming with truffle flavor. The Hot chicken sandwich was delicious… But the star of the show is definitely the avocado toast with an egg. So so good. I’ll definitely keep supporting this great new local business. I always try to find a good local restaurant, so after reading reviews about Manzil, I decided to visit today with my family for the Presidents’ Day holiday. As a coffee maniac, good coffee is very important to me. For our first order, we tried the black sesame matcha, americano, cappuccino, and the breakfast plate with turkey bacon. Drinks: Americano – It was a bit mediocre. I would recommend trying one of their specialty coffees instead. Black Sesame Matcha – The flavor was rich and delicious. Highly recommended! Cappuccino – Strong and rich coffee flavor. Definitely recommended. Food: The bread was fresh and evenly buttered, and the bacon was well cooked. 12/6/25 Late night desert and tea after dinner. Kashmiri Chai was on point, good option if its later at night and you are trying to avoid high dose of caffeine. London fog cake wasn't that bad with earl grey lavender frosting. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Props for them for keeping it nice and quite and not blasting music. Seems like a good place to get work done and post-Chaska chai/desert. Liked their solid cutlery. Just wish they have healthier options w/o white flour for the burritos, cakes, etc.

It’s a beautiful little spot! We had a small hiccup with our order, but the staff was so friendly and quick to make things right. We ordered a matcha vanilla latte, a coffee, an almond croissant(one of the best I’ve ever had in NJ) and a cardamom bun that truly stole my heart. It’s been a week and I’m still thinking about those pastries. We also tried the breakfast platter, and the sourdough on it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend!
