I absolutely loved these doughnuts. They are made fresh while you wait, and come out so warm. They look large but they're so light and fluffy, that even when filled, you'll eat them very quickly. We had a mango, banana cream, and passion fruit and the lilikoi was our winner taste-wise, even if they were all fantastic. They're not cheap but definitely worth it.
The Malasadas are spot on! Fluffy, warm, coated in sugar and the dough is the perfect sweetness. We opted for filled Malasadas and I love the tangy/sweet filling of the lilikoi/cheesecake and Guava/Cheesecake. Appreciate the mix and match options with fillings and coating. It’s a little food cart on the roadside, can’t miss it. Service is grab and go style. Meant to eat on the run. There isn’t really any place to hang out. They make them as you order so, depending on the amount of people lined up, you could be waiting 10-30 minutes For your order.
On the side of the road, this food wagon has some of the best Malasadas I have ever had. They were all very very tasty. I would give yourself at least 30 minutes to order and have them made for you. It can be busy but definitely worth it!
Pleasant surprise finding this food truck! My sister had heard things about this place on a food television station so we gave it a try. The lady running it let us sample the sugar before we ordered (very sweet of her). We ended up ordering three malasadas all with different sugar coatings and fillings and they were all delicious! Wish we could've tried every flavor. Prepared relatively quickly and well worth every penny!
Stumbled upon their pop up tent after a Christmas parade. This was without a doubt the best thing we ate the entire time we were on the island. I ordered the ube cheesecake with powdered sugar. Made fresh, it practically melted when you took a bite. We also tried their banana bread and I cannot get over how good it truly is. If you get the opportunity to check out this small business, do not hesitate.
