Mansfield Public Library

Wonderful staff. Areas for children with fun activities and lots of study areas including one that is a quiet area and contains 2 rooms to study/work. Great resources right at your fingertips.

Very nice place, always good librarians who helped me with all questions. We like with my son to come here for books 📚

The library itself is fine but story time is not hyper-toddler friendly. First time my child started dancing around to the song the librarian shot us a look. We avoided the library for months this time he’s just under two and learning inside voices. He yelled in excitement and we once again felt shamed and judged by the librarian in front of 20 parents. They say in the beginning “parents don’t stress” but it seems to only be towards parents with calm and perfectly quiet kids. I think our time here has ended but I’ll be getting more active in town politics to see if we can get a less formal song group going at the library since our taxes go into it.

It's a nice place to visit and the librarian are nice n friendly.

All the workers are aware and always are happy to help with a smile on their faces. It’s such a calming space and as a frequent teen who comes to the library, they have an amazing teen space filled with materials and utensils and board games.
