Manna Restaurant and General Store

Well……. I was very impressed on how fast the food came out! The place was great. But my uber was a little slow getting there, but it was worth it. Oh and I did find a new dog!!! His name is I hop, he has just one leg I figured that him missing 3 was better because it gave me closer on when I lost my sweet dear tripod. But yeah great foot! If you can get the grilled pork chops I recommend. Oh and also they had good sweet tea. But all in all it was good!

Me and my husband have been here three times. Every single time the service is great and so is the food. The mammoth burger is worth the wait, they have the best country fried steak that I have ever had and their steaks are always perfectly seasoned.

They changed up their menu today and it was a change for the better! The food before was awesome but they have kicked it up a notch further. Food is no longer served family style but the portion size is so much you can't eat it all. I had the ribs which were fall off the bone good, by far best ribs I have ever eaten at a restaurant. You could taste the smoke and dry rub on them. My husband had the grilled shrimp which were also amazing seasoned to perfection with just a hint of char which we love. New collards as a side tasted like some your grandma would cook complete with hamhock and a touch of heat. There are still some of the favorites from the previous menu like the corn and salad which I love along with other things. I could have eaten a dozen of their new yeast rolls with the cinnam

Wife and I in Jackson, Alabama watching our grandsons play Allstar baseball in Jackson. Manna Restaurant was suggested to us and it did not disappoint. Good food and nice atmosphere made for a good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Ordered food to go and paid up front. Waited 20 minutes, received my plate but was informed they didn’t have what I ordered. Why let me purchase something and wait for what you don’t have? I had to ask for refund. They tried to give me a plate without what I paid for and expect customers to just say okay and leave, but won’t be going back anytime soon!!!
