Mandaloun | Mediterranean Grill & Hookah Bar in Addison

I went with a few friends and had the lamb kebab. The meat was well seasoned but a little tough. They only had butter knives so I couldn’t cut it into smaller pieces. The spicy Margarita was delicious. I removed the cauliflower, rice and garlic potatoes. Service was good - but it was weird that the server stood and watched us write the tip amount. Free self served parking.

So it was a take out order for us with 3 Shawarma and sides. Once opened at home, the shawarmas pita bread has mold on them . Thought just one , but all three were wrapped in molded pita. How can you close your eyes and don’t see them while making them , impossible!! Please don’t serve such kind of food and make people sick. First and last visit!!

Ordered through DoorDash. This isn’t beef shawarma. It’s beef that’s has been overcooked and is beyond chewy and has no flavor. The hummus is also full of water. I don’t recommend!

They have a good lunch buffet but if you come for dinner, there is a reason it is EMPTY. Their dinner sucks.. overpriced. Not transparent at all with drink prices. Very expensive and so little food. I ordered chicken shawarma and what I go was NOT it. They faked it by just cooking some chicken breast and chopping it into bits so you wouldn't know... their spicy hummus is just regular hummus with pepper they slap on after the fact. Very lazy. The food tasted horrible. Gummy chicken . The kabob in my picture WAS NOT part of my meal, it was an addition so my base meal was very pathetic. Don't bother coming here. This place really fell apart from what I once remembered.

Very fresh amazing food. The restaurant is comfortable and also offers a hookah option, the hookah area is open therefore the whole restaurant smells like it, not a problem for me as I enjoy it. On the weekends they offer live music and belly dancers (entry fee of $25). I recommend this restaurant and will soon come back!
